About Me

Charlotte has always been musically active, starting to learn piano. 
She studied Music at Durham University, focusing on voice, singing with Ruth Allsebrook and later, Lyndon Van Der Pump. She has sung in London, the Netherlands, Italy and the USA, including roles in Purcell's 'Dido and Aneas' and as a recitalist in the UK, most recently as a soloist in Handel's Messiah. 
She also studied with Djoke Winkler-Prins in Rotterdam. Charlotte gained her MA in Sacred Music at Liverpool Hope University and her PhD at the University of Utrecht. She holds a Diploma in Singing from ABRSM. 

She moved to playing euphonium as a birthday present to herself and teaches beginners brass privately and in schools around Kent, directing the outreach programme of her local brass band.
