About Me

Charlotte has always been musically active, starting to learn violin and piano at primary school. 
She studied Music at Durham University, focusing on voice, singing with Ruth Allsebrook and later, Lyndon Van Der Pump. She has sung in London, Italy and the USA, including roles in Purcell's 'Dido and Aneas' and as a recitalist in the UK. 
Whilst in the USA she founded and ran the Fine Arts Academy at St Paul's UMC, Houston, Texas and cantored for the youth choir there. 
She also studied with Djoke Winkler-Prins in Rotterdam. Charlotte gained her MA in Sacred Music at Liverpool Hope University and her PhD at the University of Utrecht.
